Today the weather is fine and I can work outside as I design a ‘headpot’, reflecting aspects of my identity. Using wet felting and a resist technique (with lots of soapy water!) I created my Wildling Pot which took all day. I was pleased with the shape and think it will be very useful in explaining the technique to the young people at Hadrians Primary School South Shields and they will be able to see the similarities with the replica headpots that the museum have in the learning room at Arbeia.
